- Use a recommended aftercare cream twice a day for 3-5 days. We suggest antiseptic Bepanthan, Paw Paw ointment, or Kawakawa Balm.
- To ease any swelling, apply an ice pack for 20 minutes after your appointment; this promotes faster healing.
- Avoid fragranced soaps; wash gently and pat dry.
- Avoid spas, swimming pools, sea water, and direct sun exposure whilst healing.
- Avoid picking the tattoo while it’s healing.

The most important things are to avoid picking the tattoo and to keep it clean and moisturised with the recommended products. If swelling persists, apply an ice pack for 20 minutes.
